Pontus Höök’s interest in photography was sparked at a young age in Tranemo, Sweden. At 17, he had his first photo published in the local newspaper, an early milestone that later led to assignments with major publications and a solid foundation in photojournalism.

In 1997, he took a leap of faith and moved to New York. Since then, he has spent nearly three decades capturing presidents, celebrities, and historic moments across the U.S.

What began in a small Swedish town became a lifelong pursuit of capturing the extraordinary.
